Governance
The La Ronge ICFS Agency is an independent corporate body that is directed by a Board of Directors
consisting of eight (8) members that establish policy for the administration of the Agency. Each of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s six (6) communities elect one (1) Board Member to serve on behalf of that community. The seventh & eighth members are the Chairperson and Co-Chairperson of the Board and are members of the Council of Elders appointed by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Chief and Council.
Elections for the Board of Directors are held alternately on an annual basis between the North, Central and South’s respective Treaty Days. This year, the Board of Directors elections will be held for the Central communities of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
