Family Services

The Family Services Unit provides a number of mandatory services such as: assistance to
parents to establish a plan for the care of children, childcare services, family support services,
aide to parents and the voluntary surrender of guardianship.

This Unit is involved in the provision of a number of discretionary services. These include
counseling, guidance and support services. Provision of services to prevent family disruption or
restore family functioning may also be provided.

This Unit has 24 hours on-call services for the six(6) communities within the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.
