SUMMER STUDENT WORKERS
In La Ronge, Saskatchewan
Position Description/Summary:
The primary objective is to create, promote, and conduct activities which contribute to communities being healthier places to live.
The Summer Student Worker will possess leadership qualities, demonstrate positive attitude, and possess a willingness to work on community projects. Some activities may include spring clean-up, culture camps, family camps, and other activities as directed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work closely in a mentoring environment with Family Service and Prevention Service workers
- Assist the Family Service and Prevention Service workers with various duties including attend meetings, planning session, training and family camp.
- Monitoring family visits and transporting clients/children in care as well
- Ability to work independently, and under supervision of the Family Service and Prevention staff
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Must be able to provide a recent and satisfactory Criminal Record check, Driver’s Abstract and Child Abuse Record check
