SUPPORT SERVICES SUPERVISOR
In La Ronge, Saskatchewan
Position Description/Summary:
Reporting directly to the Agency Director, the Support Services Supervisor provides direct supervision and case management to the Mental Health, Addictions, Family Group Conferencing, Case Transfer Worker and Post Majority Support Services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides day-to-day supervision of the staff working in departments under his supervision.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating work load including the setting of priorities for those under his/her supervision.
- Ensures the maintenance of standards of quality of work within his/ her departments through a regular evaluation process.
- Work closely with all other La Ronge ICFS programs and services in order to empower families and youth.
- Liaise with Both Band and Provincial programs.
- Provides community education and awareness.
- Initiates and coordinates goals, deadlines, and projects for their departments
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Post Secondary degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years direct human services experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Must be able to provide a recent and satisfactory Criminal Record check, Driver’s Abstract and Child Abuse Record Check
